“I recently had the opportunity to photograph a group of friends from Jacksonville, Florida, as they took on the legendary waves of the North Shore of Oahu. The energy was electric as these experienced surfers tackled some seriously impressive waves, including one that was twice the size of Russ, one of the surfers in the group. I was able to capture some incredible action shots that showcase the power and beauty of the ocean, as well as the skill and determination of these surfers. This shoot was a reminder of why I love photographing surfers – it’s a chance to capture the thrill of the sport and the connection between humans and nature.”
